To that end, our goal is to provide a safe space for our children to share positive experiences with each other, and in the process to build trust, create friendships, and reduce stereotyping.

At ACHLA, we believe that Israeli society is strengthened by efforts to recognize, communicate with, and listen to each other.

Our Program

ACHLA meets on two Fridays each month on the Beit Berl campus (between Kfar Saba and Tira).  Each meeting includes:

Arabic and English language learning

The first part of each meeting is reserved for focused language learning in subgroups.

Snack and joint play

The full group meets for a small snack (Kosher pareve) and a brief opportunity for open play and conversation.

Group activity or discussion

The second half of each meeting involves a joint discussion or activity, co-facilitated by our Jewish and Arab instructors.
